What is church?

A church is a living, growing framework of people with a common goal of impacting our world in a positive manner through the love, acceptance and forgiveness we find in Jesus Christ and offering the same opportunity to all we meet.
Young Adults
The Future Leaders Sunday School Class is for college students and young adults who desire to remain active at SBC and within the community. The class enjoys fellowship with one another on Sunday mornings and numerous occasions throughout the year.
Sunday School
Sunday School is a place to learn how to follow Christ. It teaches us how to apply the lessons He has given us in His word to our everyday life so we can fulfill the mission He has laid out for us. Classes begin on Sunday mornings at 9:45 AM and structured to provide a support group for each stage of life.
Youth Ministry
Our goal is to help youth grow as they form strong positive relationships through Bible study, fellowship and activities. Bible study consists of age appropriate study material based on the Word and how to relate the topics to the daily life of a teenager. Each Sunday evening from 5:00 PM – 7:30 PM. Students grades 7 through 12 are invited to attend.
Children’s Ministry
Our children’s ministry strives to meet the spiritual, physical, and emotional needs of children. Transportation is provided via van for anyone in nearby neighborhoods.  On Wednesday evenings from 5:45 PM – 7:30 PM, children grades PK – 8th grade are provided a meal and lessons from God’s word to help them navigate the ever changing world they live in.
Memory Makers
Our Senior Adult ministry meets, not only for Sunday School each week, but also one Friday each month for a fellowship meal at one of the many local restaurants nearby. They enjoy each others company and look forward to sharing the love of Christ through mission work like participating in Operation-In-As-Much and other various outreach ministries of the church.
Men’s Ministry
Equipping Men of God is our goal through Bible study, prayer, and fellowship. The men seek ways they can serve God in our church and in our community through mission activities and meeting to grow in their relationships with each other, their families, and with God.
Women’s Ministry
Our Sonshine Group is a ladies’ group that seeks to grow in their knowledge of the Bible in order to fulfill God’s goal for them as mothers, wives, sisters and daughters in providing leadership in their families and relationships. This group meets for fellowship and Bible study the second Friday of every month.

Women’s Missionary Union (WMU)
The WMU plays a vital role in supporting missionaries in our community as well as around the world. This group meets each month for fellowship, prayer, Bible study and missions activities.
